I am a freelance writer with specialties in women's health, reproductive rights, feminism, art, pop culture, and music and book reviews. I have been published in BUST Magazine, Feministing.com, Evolution: Outreach and Education, and the Northeastern Anthropological Association Newsletter. I am currently working on a book about doulas and childbirth in America.
In addition to my work as a writer, I am also a freelance copy editor, proofreader, and translator. I am currently the staff copy editor at the up-and-coming fashion/art magazine, Ladygunn, based in NY and LA. I have extensive experience with proofreading, fact checking, editing, and even magazine and newspaper layout and design. Additionally, I am fluent in French and Italian and am available for translation/interpretation.
I have a flexible schedule and am happy to check in with you often about the progress of your project. We can set up "Milestones" to reassure your that your project is on track and will be completed in a timely manner.
I work extremely well on a tight deadline and almost always turn my assignments in a few days early. I pay close attention to detail and can assure fast and accurate, quality service.
