“Stay away from this contractor. I am actually posting feedback regarding the other job he did for me which costs a lot more, but I no longer can leave feedback on that project because he intentionally lied and promised me a refund, and stalled until 60 days was up, when my ability to leave feedback expired.
I can list a myriad of reasons why you should not work with this contractor, but I will keep it somewhat succinct. First, he is not professional. He will ask you personal questions that have nothing to do with the job at hand. He has also asked me to pay outside of Elance. In addition, he has begged me to pay him the full amount ahead of time because he needed the money, and once you do, he will put in near zero effort on your job. Regrettably, I made the mistake of paying all the milestones and payments before the job was completely finished. Once I did, he barely replied to me.
His work is mediocre and borders on slight incompetence. If you ask him to perform a task, he will do it but it will break 2 different things on the website. Then, when you ask him to fix those 2 different items, 4 more things will break on the site. At the end of the day, you will spend more time fixing the site rather than advance and finish it. He will probably come on here and say he made tons of changes and requests, but keep in mind that 90% of all the things he changes are simply FIXES to problems created by him! In addition, everything I asked for are still within our original scope.
He doesn't have much design logic or simple spacing. You will notice horrible font sizing, awkward text spacing, buttons with text crooked, and tons of tons of other simple overlooked design logic. And you will spend hours and hours of your life getting him to edit those changes so it is tolerable (not even great, just tolerable).
Now I've lost all my original funds and stuck with a non-functional website. Caveat Emptor!
