Feb 25, 2011|Technical Writing|$250|Working
As a temp employee I took on numerous writing assignments for various companies. These included, but was not limited to: writing repair manuals for thrust reversers, creating maintenance manuals for specific equipment placed aboard the SeaWolf submarine, writing user guides for Microfiche use in the countries of Korea, China, and Japan, and I created, updated, standardized, and maintained satellite installation procedures.
Since 2002 I am working for a DOD subcontractor and my primary duties include writing xml code (Arbotext) for flight operations manuals, which is used by the Air Force, Army, and Homeland Security. My collateral duties include updating our local newsletter and writing Owners Manuals for yachts.
As a technical writer I am always on the lookout for new and challenging opportunities. Providing a freelance service permits me to live in the best of all worlds.
