I am a retired Army Signal Officer with over 30 years experience in Information Systems management. I have Strong project management skills, proven over multiple network installations, Computer systems design and implementation, and Manufacturing resources planning projects. I am an Experienced trainer for computer operation and installation, computer operating systems, and inventory management. I have Over 3000 hours of classroom presentation experience. I developed curricula for communications technical control, computer operation, and inventory management. I have Over 20 years experience in systems administration, network design and implementation. I have over 20 years experience implementing and managing computer networking, as well as more than 20 years experience in voice networking, switching, multiplexing, and routing design. I am Certified in Production Control and Inventory Management by the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).

Senior Computer Systems Engineer, ManTech International Corporation, Fairfax, Virginia (2001-2002)
Regional Manager for Legacy Applications migration for the Navy and Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) project. NMCI established a standardized, end-to-end system for voice, video, and data supporting all civilian and military personnel within the Department of the Navy (DoN).
Supervised eleven on-site engineers in their efforts to identify and collect applications, assess them, and assist in re-engineering efforts, where necessary.
Acted as application owners’ advocate to assess application complexity, identify issues which might complicate the transition of legacy applications to NMCI, educated and assisted application owners in understanding NMCI transition requirements, suggested resolutions to identified issues, and in rationalizing application retention to the Project Management Office.
Ensured adequate manning on sites throughout the Southern region by maintaining close contact with both the Site Transition and Delivery Managers and the Navy customer, to insure that their needs were fulfilled.

Signal Officer, United States Army (1973-1993)
Director, Management Information Systems (G-6): Responsible for all aspects of telecommunications, computers, visual information, publications, libraries, and files and records for an 8,000 person organization (!st Corps Support Command). Planned and executed the telecommunications network necessary to support humanitarian relief efforts subsequent to Hurricane Andrew. Managed the Command’s library.
Executive Officer: Second in command of an 800 person organization providing telecommunications services to a 20,000 person organization (XVIII Airborne Corps). Planned and directed implementation of a new family of digital communications equipment.
Director of Operations (S-3): Responsible for all matters of communications operations, training, intelligence, and security for an 800 person organization. Deployed the organization to Saudi Arabia and later into Iraq. Developed and implemented a reporting system using automated data transfers.
Commanding Officer: Equivalent to Chief Executive Officer for a 200 person organization which provided real-time data and voice communications to a NATO missile air defense unit. Reorganized the operation to increase communications services provided without increase in people or equipment
Systems Control Officer: Managed the engineering and operation of a large telecommunications network linking all NATO air defense assets across all of West Germany.
Director, Operations and Training: Planned, directed and coordinated every aspect of daily operations of an organization training 1,200 new communications specialists.
Commanding Officer: Responsible for every aspect of the training, welfare, conduct and discipline of supervisors, instructors and 300 students who learned the skills necessary to become communications specialists.
Instructor: Taught new officers the skills necessary to engineer and install communications for deployed combat forces.
Signal Soldier and Supervisor: Operated and maintained various telecommunications systems, then supervised communications operations. Completed my enlisted career by attending Officer Candidate School.
