All of my work experiences center on administrative duties. I worked for a small CPA/Legal firm right out of high school where I answered phones, greeted clients, filed, kept my own daily time sheet and performed all typing duties for the partners and two assistants. I also helped prepare client tax returns during tax season.
I worked for a marketing director of three small strip malls which, among the usual duties, gained me experience in the following: Setting up and working on promotional rallies, soliciting giveaways from store managers and/or owners and dealing with suppliers.
While working for a heavy/highway construction company I expanded my knowledge by working with a larger group of both superiors and coworkers. I started out working for the Controller where I was responsible for all correspondence, reconciliation of the company bank accounts, filing, relieving the receptionist for breaks, talking with managers of other departments, as well as vice presidents. I also handled correspondence for the Safety Coordinator. When I left, I was Administrative Assistant to the Senior Vice President.
From there I went on to manage an entire household consisting of a husband, three daughters and numerous pets over the past 20+ years.
