Service Description

PhD from Cornell University in theoretical physics. 8 years experience designing and building scientific/data analysis-visualization applications. In addition to the development of quantitative analysis/modeling techniques for large and complex data sets, I have developed web sites for the display of scientific results/data.
Some brief descriptions of the types of projects I have worked on:

--Devised and implemented custom algorithms for the exploration, visualization and analysis of various clinical and basic scientific data. The types of data included that from human MRI and fMRI imaging studies and human eye tracking/viewing experiments. The algorithms made use of sophisticated mathematical and statistical models as well as methods from machine learning .

--Performed basic scientific research in neuroscience and psychiatry. This entailed developing and implementing various exploration, visualization and analysis techniques to quality control, process and assess large, multidimensional time series behavioral data sets. These techniques resulted in novel, generally usable and robust suites of software, including databases and interactive web pages, for the phenotyping of mutant mice strains.
