I've been doing my art for well over 20 years now.
I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Art in '97 and became an art teacher. I taught for a few years but decided to quit and pursue a freelance illustration career instead. It was a gamble, but I love what I do for a living and I plan to continue doing this.
I'm a versatile artist and can help you out with any kind of project you have in mind. It all begins with an idea.

I've done everything from comic strip work to logo creation to t-shirt designs to mascot creation to all kinds of book illustrations (including children's books) to even working on a graphic novel (so I know about sequential art).
My passion has always been comic books, comic strips, and just about any type of cartooning.
My design technique is simple. I draw everything by hand. I scan then add color and detail using Photoshop or Illustrator.
All my illustrations are 100% ORIGINAL.
The most important thing is to listen closely to what the client needs, and from there I begin every illustration project by creating pencil sketches, which then I send to the client. From there we make adjustments (if needed), and once roughs are approved by the client, the actual illustrations are created.
This is my main profession so most of the time I will be in my office working on projects. You shouldn't have any trouble contacting me.
If you don't see what you're looking for in my portfolio please contact me. I have many files of other personal work not on display which might be just what you're looking for.
