My work experience has included everything from "flipping burgers' to to being the general manager for a number of businesses. One of the things I found I'm very good at and enjoy is...
After graduating from high school. I went directly into the Air Force (at 17), where I spent 5 years as a a "boom operator' or inflight refueling specialist, refueling military aircraft while in-flight. I was honorably discharged from the Air force in 1977 and having acquired veteran's benefits, took 2 years of college courses.
The courses included management and supervision, psychology, sociology, interpersonal communications, bookkeeping, office equipment & procedures and a number of other courses.
The courses were extremely helpful in laying the foundation for a career in management and working with people over the next 40 years.
My hobbies include reading science fiction and working with computers (since they became available in the late 70's). I've been all around the world and to all 50 of the United States and have had a variety of experiences that give me a wide assortment of things to draw from when it comes to writing.
I've been a Private Pilot for over 40 years (with an extreme love of anything that flies or pertains to space exploration)
I'm very excited about going into writing and look forward to being able to use the experiences I have to offer.
