I am the author of two novels, The Starlite Drive-in and The Civil Wars of Jonah Moran, published in hardcover by William Morrow and in paperback by Berkley. I have taught advanced fiction writing at the University of Washington Extension for four years. I am a former newspaper reporter and movie advertising executive, and although I'm new to Elance, I've written everything from books to magazine articles to advertising copy to radio and TV commercials. I am meticulous with grammar, punctuation and clarity in writing.
The Starlite Drive-in was chosen for the Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Program, the American Library Association's Top Ten Best Books of the Year list, and Literary Guild. I have been a speaker and workshop leader for the Pacific Northwest Writers Association, Oregon Writers Colony, South Carolina Writers Workshop, Santa Barbara Writers Association and Palm Springs Writers. I have a degree in journalism from Indiana University.
