Overview

With the right words in the right place, I can help you catch and keep the audience you desire.

Hi, I知 Jen. I have 10 plus years working with my passion様anguage. Language is powerful. It convinces people to purchase a new item, believe in a company, support a cause, or display a range of emotions. You just need the right words directed at the right audience.

Service Description

The last three years I worked as a communications writer and editor for an education organization. Because I was part of a small department, I was able to work on all types of writing and editing assignments, including blogs, product and service descriptions, fliers and brochures, journal articles, and manuscripts. This gives me a broad spectrum of experience and expertise. I致e had an article published in Educational Leadership, a highly read journal with over 166,000 readers, titled, 溺aking Standards Serve the Student. In 2012, my communications team and I won the 2011 Communicator award for the video Changing the Odds for Student Success (watch it on YouTube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mliX2mswwuM). In the same organization, I also worked as a content analyst for almost three years where I wrote and edited technical reports and executive summaries. But before I entered the corporate world, I taught high school English for five years in upstate NY. My teaching experience taught me those invaluable soft skills葉ime management, organization, adaptability, and creativity. If you want to go back even farther, I was writing short stories and poetry when I was 12, and I remember constantly asking my mom for new books to read even before that. Like I said, I have a passion for language and getting language right.
