I was born to work with audio. I began taking piano lessons when I was six, but the most impactful moment in my life came a year later, when I got my first tape recorder, and discovered that pushing the "pause" button halfway down allowed me to explore the elasticity of my recordings. Ever since then, I've been fascinated with the possibilities of electronic sound. Many years and several broken tape recorders later, I bought my first digital audio workstation, and I knew then that I wanted to spend my life working with sound.
I'm a certified audio engineer, I have management experience in the video game industry, and I have professional-level skills in a variety of media production software. I have also been studying music nearly all my life, I play several instruments, and I have composed for several renowned ensembles, including New York's Jubal Trio, and the Bay Area's own Left Coast Ensemble.
I can provide a range of media production services. I can compose the complete score for your indie film, I can tailor make a catalog of sound effects for your video game or app, and I can write vocal arrangements to sweeten your demo CD.
In addition to my audio production work, I have experience writing columns, reviews, and editorials, and I'm competent in C/C++ and Java. I have professional-level skills in Pro Tools, Cubase, Finale, Final Cut Pro, Motion, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Excel, PowerPoint, and Office.
