As a self-employed freelance proofreader I offer proofreading, editing and rewriting services to corporate and private individuals. I also write biographies and short articles. Whatever the project and whoever the client, my aim is to provide an excellent service at a reasonable cost.

In the past year alone, I have worked for a magazine editor, two conference organizers, many businesses and a lot of private individuals. Perhaps the most interesting document was a letter to a former US President, but along the way I've learned a lot about real estate, fountain pens, amber, coaching and tinnitus.
I am a member of Distributed Proofreaders and have worked on various texts for Project Gutenberg, including a biography of Abraham Lincoln, an Edwardian murder mystery and an account of the colorful lives, both on an off the stage, of French actresses and opera singers in Revolutionary France. The latter required correcting in both English and French (I'm a former bilingual secretary).
