Whether you're looking for academic prose or down-to-earth, informative copywriting, I can supply your needs and then some. I hold the MA Degree in English literature as well as the Master of Library and Information Science. My work has been presented at numerous professional conferences. On the other end of the spectrum, I am a published poet and creative writer. Suffice it to say that I enjoy the art and craft of writing in almost any genre or format.
My top priorities with every project are understanding your needs, getting feedback throughout the process, and delivering results that exceed your expectations. I'm not satisfied until you're satisfied.
I will not undertake an assignment unless I am 100% confident that I can meet every measurable objective. I can write with virtually any audience in mind and tailor my message to communicate effectively with that audience. My range extends well beyond academic writing. Tell me the reading level and tone that you want your final piece to achieve, and I will do my very best to meet those goals.
I have general knowledge of a variety of subjects, including the sciences, history, current events, politics, social matters, and healthy living. In the overview section, I touched upon some of the topics that are of particular interest to me. But of course that does not mean I can't write effectively about topics which are unfamiliar. If it can be researched, I can write about it, and I can do so in such a way that the voice is perfectly authoritative.
I can proof, edit, and critique academic documents, especially theses and dissertations. Conference papers are also very welcome. I can easily craft product descriptions, persuasive articles, and informational, "how-to" pieces. My greatest strength is my capacity to take a complicated subject matter and boil it down to layperson's terms. I can generate completely original content based on your research or my own, or I can do re-workings of content which you provide.
In summary: My range is broad, and my experience and credentials speak for themselves. I will not take on your project if I do not have the utmost confidence in my ability to execute your wishes. I welcome full communication. If for whatever reason I am falling short of the mark, please let me know. I want your feedback and criticism. Most of all, I want the chance to turn your ideas into compelling words, enhance the content of your website or blog, or help you put the finishing touches on your book or thesis.
