My name is Jennifer. I am a fourth year student, completing my degree in Biology with a Specialization in Bioinformatics at UC San Diego. I am currently taking classes in programming (Java, Perl, Python) and biology to complete my degree.
While I study science, I am also passionate about literature and writing. In high school I excelled in my honors English classes and won achievement awards from the French and English departments. I also passed the Art History AP test, which required written analysis of art and architecture.
At UCSD my writing classes have included the following topics: gender studies, culture studies, Chinese ancient history, and American government policy.
I am good with web and print research. I can follow directions or come up with my own plan of action. I believe communication is key to the success of any collaborative project.
I am especially interested in scientific and academic writing, travel, art, gender studies, and water sports. All my work is original and written by me. I aim to complete projects ahead of deadlines, using clear communication and clarification to create the best possible outcome.
My hobbies include glassblowing, water polo, swimming, and violin.
