Katrina Skinner has a degree from Curtin University in majoring in Graphic Design and minoring in Illustration. I was chosen to illustrate a children's book while I was at Uni and this has continued to be a main influence in my work.
I work in pen and ink when illustrating, taking it into the digital realm to add layers of colour and texture. My work is exciting and different. I have many examples of illustration in my portfolio. I prefer to blend traditional media (such as pen and ink) with digital. I can adapt to any requirement.
My work in graphic design started when I was 14 years old and was taken on in an agency as a fully paid graphic designer. I have not looked back since, working there as I made my way through University. I have worked in agencies and since having children, in my own business.
