“My wife and I interviewed Joanna for PR & Crowdfunding Outreach. We found Joanna to be quite professional via the Skype conversation/interview. As noted in our campaign's title we needed someone to do specific outreach as we had a difficult PR outreach project.
After agreeing on a limited campaign for $1200 what we rec'd was a general press release and then refinement of an updated version we provided her. In addition, she also sent out emails to targeted press contacts we provided her - as well as providing a self-help email template to send and do additional outreach. To my knowledge the only outreach were emails she sent on our behalf.
As someone who is inexperienced with hiring a PR provider I think we expected too much for $1200. The job I wrote quoted the following: "If you have the contacts (I asked for specific contacts for out niche), please let me know as I'd be interested in working with you. Recently listed on Indiegogo and need audience."
So while I would recommend Joanna if you need help with a press release or another one of her areas of expertise, I would suggest that if you expect her to do phone/personal outreach to key contacts like I did that you first clarify who they are and how these individuals will be contacted.
“I enjoyed working with Craig and Carolyn. It was unfortunate that their budget only allowed for a minimal level of PR outreach, which included help writing and distributing the press release and some minimal email outreach to existing contacts. We had discussed this at the beginning of the project when I provided 3 different budget options for the PR - they selected the most affordable (and highest risk) approach which was a more limited engagement than outlined in their original job description, given the budget. I wish them all the best with their company for the future.”

“I did enjoy working with Craig and Carolyn, even though with the limited budget we were not able to get a lot of media attention. Easy to reach and communicate with, and pays promptly.”
