What can I say? I am new to the actual world of publishing, but have had a deep passion for writing my entire life. I know and have been commended by peers and teachers alike on my written communication skills. Besides having these skills, I have a vast array of life skills to enhance my works. As a first-time college student at St. Thomas University, I studied Music Education. Unfortunately, I was a foolish youngster and completed only two years of my studies. I did take a fair amount of English classes while there.
The next phase of my life was very interesting. I worked for GMAC as a clerk and married a man from Mexico. We eventually moved to Mexico, later returning to MN to make our home once again. After separating, my husband kidnapped my two and three year old sons, leaving our nine month baby girl behind. To say that this was a very trying era in my life is putting it mildly. It lasted for nearly eleven years. During that time, I was able to at least visit my sons and my daughter got to know her father. My son, Scott, returned to the USA on his own when he was 13 years old. Bryant followed two years later and we were a family again. Throughout this time, I returned to school and became a registered nurse. Over the years, I have worked in long-term care, psychiatry, cardiac ICU, and medical/surgical ICU.
