Company founder and President, Jon Coon, is a GSEC certified information security professional with over 12 years experience in application and network security, incident response and policy development.
His past experience includes seventeen years of programming experience in client-server, database, web and e-commerce applications across several languages, architectures and platforms. Prior to founding Link Mountain, he served four years as Application Security Analyst for Wayne County Michigan, and another 4 years as Information Security Manager for a private Michigan firm.
He is well versed in all aspects of network and application security, including audit of firewall configuration and information security policies and procedures. As the company's technical lead, he has personally coded PCI compliant web application firewall solutions, encryption key management solutions, intrusion detection and central logging solutions and numerous security testing, analysis and reporting solutions.
He has personally conducted hundreds of security assessments and penetration tests.
