“Jas did a fantastic job on a WordPress site clone project I posted and then awarded to him here on Elance. He was very cool about chatting back and forth via the messaging system here and there over the course of 2 days or so to iron out project details and get a needs assessment before I officially awarded the project to him. He did all of this without mentioning a fee or money once. Then after I awarded it he went out of his way to call me on Skype to introduce himself and re-iterate what our project scope entailed to reassure me I was in good hands - in addition to being unexpected I thought it was very professional of him to go out of his way to do so.
Jas had an advanced automated script he had written prior to engaging me on Elance that he ended up implementing for the project. He completed many individual items for optimizations to the "cloned" site in a manual sense after the domain and database transfer as well. He also followed the detailed scope of work i provided item by item, and kept his own checklist on a Google Drive Doc (even added screen shots) that he shared with me so I could monitor his progress then come to Elance and comment on said progress in the project work space if my feedback was required.
I had no problem at all communicating with Jas even though we are from different countries. His English was just fine to me whether typed or in textual form - and I am from the Midwest, USA to boot! So I'm really unsure of why that one reviewer would leave such a nasty and mean review about him and his ability to communicate here. However please take my word for it: it is simply not true.
I'd recommend Jas to friends and colleagues in need of his services, and would rely on his services if needed for future projects.
