I do a similar thing for the micro-review site, 21words.net. This is a site I set-up in collaboration with others. Doing this has given me experience of writing compelling copy for Search Engine Optimisation, and of effectively using and managing social media to promote both specific promotional ideas, and the website as a whole.
I also contribute peer-reviewed book reviews to the Madness and Literature Network. This is a global network that aims to stimulate an interdisciplinary dialogue between academic researchers, clinicians, service users, carers and creative writers around the issues raised by the representations of madness in literature.
I recently completed an English Literature MA at the University of Sheffield, where I was part of the editorial team for the student fiction magazine, Route 57. I also edit the short story website, cazart.co.uk, which involves judging the monthly entries in two competitions and producing a quarterly hardcopy anthology, something that sets us apart from our competitors.
