I'm a writer and editor who creates articles, essays, short stories, novels and plays. My non-fiction subjects are business, finance, science and technology; theatre and literature; health and well-being. I also proofread.

Service Description

My manifesto:

1. Writing is about communicating an idea from your head into that of another person. Unlike speaking, you can't keep repeating yourself until you are understood, so make the best of your opportunity to edit so that your message is unambiguous.

2. Chose the vocabulary and tone carefully to suit the reader and the message. If you get it wrong you will alienate a potential client.

3. Think carefully about the length and balance of the piece. A well written piece of writing is like a beast that has its own shape and form.

4. Proofread it, spell check it, proofread it, and proofread it again! Errors make people lose trust in you - if you can't get the words right then you may be sloppy in other ways.

5. Use humour if appropriate. It can win people over and shows that you are human.
