Service Description

The common threads in my professional portfolio are strong writing and editing skills; a commitment to providing early educational opportunities, library services, professional development, and literacy skills to all, regardless of income; and a personal investment in lifelong learning and service-oriented work. I currently work part-time as a nonprofit grantwriting and communications consultant and substitute teacher. Prior to that I served three years as a national nonprofit Director of Development and Communications, two years as a Development Manager, and five years as a volunteer fundraiser for local nonprofits in Central Vermont. My academic background includes extensive writing practice and study through earning first a Bachelor's then a Master's degree in English Literature.

Writing dozens of successful corporate, foundation, and federal grant requests;
Preparing and editing grant reports, electronic newsletters, annual reports, and strategic plans;
