Service Description

Initial meetings with my clients will usually determine the scope of a project...
discussion and a client's requirements are noted, budgets are considered and taken into account, and the Project Brief is specified by the client..

If a client supplies photography (usually digital files or sometimes even color or B&W prints), by the time the first initial creative phase has been presented, manipulation or retouching of photography may be required. If minor in nature the estimated fee might cover the cost, but if extensive, a re-quote may be necessary.

Text in the form of word-processed files is usually supplied by the client. If copywriting is necessary, that will be quoted up front as an outside copywriter will need to be hired.

Illustration, whether done by hand or digitally in Black & White or color should be specified at the first meeting... this will determine the eventual estimate.

Web design is usually managed as a team effort: I design the site, present it to my client... after creative has been approved, I call in my tech designer to "make the site work"... tis has been a good way to proceed and satisfactory, great looking results are the product!

Other tasks such as proofreading should be done by the client's organization in advance, and at every milestone if necessary... final proofreading and checking is the responsibility of the client.
