First and foremost, I am mother to three wonderfully different children with special needs. I am a naturally curious person. I pride myself on being resourceful. As you can imagine, this skill comes in handy when raising children with special needs. I enjoy reading and reviewing material on disability, educational rights, alternative therapies, nutrition, education and home schooling as well as many other topics.

Job Description: Partners Resource Network is a statewide Parent Training and Information Center (PTI) focused on serving the needs of families with children with disabilities. The project I worked on was known as Technical Assistance ALLIANCE for Parent Centers. The chief objective of the of ALLIANCE project was to coordinate technical assistance to Parent Training and Information Centers (PTI's) and Community Parent Resource Centers across the nation. The PACER Center in Minneapolis, MN held the national contract and Partners was the regional center for the Southeastern region. During the year I was employed with Partners, my primary duty was to develop individual technical assistance agreements with the directors of fourteen PTI's in the Southern Region of the United States, spanning from Texas to Florida.
