Currently I study software engineering; finishing for master's degree next year. I don't have a lot of job experiences but I'm looking forward to getting them.
I've worked for 2 years in PHP (+SQL) and 1.5 year in Java.
I am new to Elance, freelancing and without decades of experience in the field, but I want to catch up and learn the required skills as soon as possible. I do like to read a lot (including IT literature), though my kind of poor memory doesn't make it easy to remember.
Evaluating myself seems to be a problem, since I'm shy (which also reflects in communication skills, specifically nervousness in initialization, after that it's sort of okay).
As for history, in 2010 I started attending college (Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Information Technology) and graduated as a bachelor in 2013. I continue to study there for master's degree and thinking about doctoral after that. During the study I mostly focused on algorithmization and software engineering. In 2011, I was member of the team representing CTU in ACM ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) Central European Regional Contest. In 2012 I started working as a PHP programmer in Probox and also started working on my bachelor project (educational application for an elementary school written in Java; details are in portfolio).
Some of my skills are:
- Java, Swing, JavaFX, JavaEE
- PHP, SQL
- C++, C#
