Professional editor, copy-editor, proofreader, writer and indexer with over 25 years of work experience, and a member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP). Reliable, adaptable, creative, flexible, and friendly.
I specialise in non-fiction books, ebooks and articles, and academic editing, and offer absolute accuracy and attention to detail plus the ability to adapt my style to the varying requirements of clients and specific publication style guides (APA, Harvard, MLA, Chicago, Oxford, Associated Press, The Economist, Guardian etc).
I am a native English speaker proficient in US, UK, Australian and New Zealand English, and qualified as a copy-editor and proofreader through Chapterhouse Publishing.

I have an Honours degree in English (studying modern English, linguistics, literature, Old English, Middle English) and also majored in psychology. I am a trained tutor in literacy and in English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL).
