Mindful Meetings was started four years ago by Jennifer Roth, a 15 year conference and event planning professional. Realizing that there was a need for a la cart planners, Jennifer structured Mindful Meetings to be available to hit the ground running at a moments notice for clients with the desire to produce top quality events without the staffing resources to do so.
Working with an independent planner with today's technology is like having another virtual team member at your finger tips. With Skype(TM), Yahoo! Messenger, Email, faxes and cell phones, you have access to your planner just as you would any full time employee. Once benefit is that when Mindful Meetings isn't working on your meeting, you aren't paying full time wages.
Our fee structure is set at $50 an hour, $575 daily rate (over 8 hrs) or a flat rate per event can be negotiated. On average, a three day conference with special events, exhibits and 200 - 500 attendees will cost between $8,000 - $15,000. The average salary of a seasoned meeting planning professional can run upwards of $75,000 and that's not including benefits!
Fees for Mindful Meetings can also be off-set by commissions paid as a third party negotiator with hotels.
