The principal, Bob Johnson, is a degreed Electrical Engineer with many accumulated graduate level credits in Engineering and Business Administration.
The first 13 years of his career was spent as a practicing design engineer and was first employed by a Telephony equipment manufacturer in 1976 to work on the hardware design of a Class 5 Digital switch. In 1980, still in the telephone industry, Bob made the decision to shift to a management track and by 1989 was the Director of Technology at Nortel's Network Systems Division leading a team of more than 100 engineers in complex Operational Support System developments.
In 1989 Bob left Nortel for employment with smaller, more entrepreneurial, and technically specialized companies. From 1989 to 1999 Bob was appointed to positions of ever increasing responsibility and greater involvement in marketing and new product identification. Areas of product and market expertise include network structure, last mile access, fiber optic transport and plant testing, and network performance. Bob has been an officer in a publicly traded company, and lead successful business development campaigns on a global basis including Scandinavia, Europe, China, Japan, Malaysia, and Brazil.
