Nicole O'Dell, author of 24 traditionally-published books since 2007, founder of Choose NOW Ministries, a nonprofit organization, writes and speaks to parents on preparing teens for life's tough choices. O'Dell is a finalist for the ACFW's Editor of the Year Award (winner TBA in September, 2014). She is the author of YA fiction, including the popular Scenarios for Girls series and the Diamond Estates Series, and non-fiction for teens including Girl Talk, 2/1/12, based on the popular advice column she writes with her daughters. Hot Buttons, O'Dell's non-fiction series for parents, tackles tough issues and was recently endorsed by Focus on the Family.
Nicole runs a bustling blog network with more than 30 monthly contributors, and uses social media extensively. She has also written over 300 contributions to published devotional compilations and national magazines. Nicole teaches writing, publishing, and branding at Parkland College and is a member of Mensa.
