My copyediting and proofreading services are backed by nearly 17 years of experience in fiction and nonfiction. Accuracy and attention to detail are my strengths. I am American with English as my first language. Grammar, punctuation, and insidious typos cannot escape my red pen.

I am also a published author of seven novels and two dozen pieces of short fiction.

In addition, I have over a decade of experience in an office setting, which included medical and general audio transcription as well as data entry and routine office duties. I served my last employer as an operations manager for many years, and am organized and focused.

Because the majority of my work is editing other people's source material, I cannot display examples of my editing in my portfolio. I am, however, delighted to provide a short sample edit of your own work, free of charge.
Service Description
I have been writing and editing since I was a child, raised by a professional copyeditor and writer. I began applying my skills professionally in 1992 and have consistently worked in a variety of fields to utilize these skills. I also have 11 years of experience as a medical and general transcriptionist and am highly skilled at data entry and other administrative tasks.
