“This project was very hard work and did not achieve the stated objectives. The work involved two parts; moving an Oracle database to a new server and migrating the data to MySQL.
The move of the database was completed, but after we had expended a considerable amount of time with the contractor we were advised that it was not possible to migrate the data from Oracle to MySQL.
In regard to the database move, we since discovered that only the data in the database was moved, the functions and stored procedures were not. We have had to engage a new contractor to redo this all of this work.”
“The scope of the project was not well-defined. The use of the feedback to retaliate is very poorly done. The client was informed that the move of an ENTIRE database from Oracle to MySQL is not possible but client insisted.
Architectural limitations are an issue that is beyond any one control.”
“The scope and communication on the project was not very well defined. There were 4 tasks that was initially defined on the project and 3 tasks were completed. The request to move an ENTIRE Oracle database to MySQL was not possible due to stored procedures and I requested schemas but this was refused. This is the reason for the negative feedback. There was a final settlement for the final amount due for WORK DONE, which was fair. However, client deems that it is vital to leave negative feedback for retaliation.”
