• With a strong inclination towards Humanities, my academic focus has always been English, Literature, Political Science, History, Sociology, and Economics. In line with my interest, I graduated in Mass Communications, Psychology, and World Literature (Triple Major) with Human Rights Violations as my elective. While Mass Communications has stimulated my existing curiosity about the world, Psychology has aided me in becoming more perceptive and objective to see both sides of the coin. My course in World Literature opened up a whole new vista of knowledge as I avidly devoured works from Africa, Japan, and Asia.
• On the professional front, I started my career at Scope e-Knowledge at the age of 22. Within a span of one year, I became the youngest Team Leader in the organisation with the responsibility of leading 19 members. In my second job as the Communications & Media Head for two UN-accredited NGOs in the UAE, I was honoured to be in charge of high-profile projects including all their publications, and the organisation of the Corporate Social Responsibility Awards scheme involving more than 12 Arab nations. I also co-authored a paper on Sustainable Development with the organisation’s Chairperson, and contributed to the first ever CSR case studies publication from the Arab region.
