Resume/C.V.

Scientific, medical artist and illustrator, B.S. in Illustration and Biology, member of the Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, published illustrations in brochures, books, webpages, and medical journals.
I offer illustrative services specializing, but not limited to, artwork depicting the natural world, including anatomical renderings and species interactions. I work in both traditional and digital media, using both to create highly vivid, memorable, educational illustrations.
The illustrations I create are attractive, effective visuals for any educational publication. They engage both children and adults, generate further interest in the subject, and are both informative and beautiful to look at.
Service Description
I offer illustrative services specializing, but not limited to, artwork depicting the natural world, including anatomical renderings and species interactions. I work in both traditional and digital media, using both to create highly vivid, memorable, educational illustrations.
Education
Northern Michigan University
Bachelor of Science
2006 - 2010
Payment Terms
I can give an estimate based on the time it would take to complete the images, the media used, the exposure I would gain from the final product, etc. If you have a small budget it is recommended that you say so up front; I do want to adjust my workload to stay within your affordability and be fair to both of us, i.e. I don't want to work for less than minimum wage.
For pieces that use a traditional base with digital color, I require a split payment. After the graphite/ink illustration is complete I would like half of the agreed amount disbursed. When the digital color is complete and the client is satisfied with the image, I would then expect the other half of the payment. All other full traditional/full digital pieces ask for the full payment due at their completion.
