Others get the work done, I get the work to excel. My love of writing stems from a solid academic foundation built upon a science degree, a career as an editor with an international magazine, a tour as a journalist, and a life-long passion for storytelling.

Service Description

I'm a tech-savvy, professional writer and editor with a natural talent to weave words into sentences that inspires, informs, and entertains. A polymath for all things creative, I enjoy bringing writing, music, and painting to life.

I worked four years as a research assistant doing bench-side work into breast cancer and gained first-hand experience of the complex world of oncology and academic publishing. During my internship at Lombardi Magazine I learned a thing or two about the intimate details readers look for in popular prose. Afterwards, I joined The Hoya as a journalist covering health and medicine, then as an Associate Editor for news.

After graduating from Georgetown University, I transitioned to full-time freelancing by expanding my business to serve local, national, and international clients. My journey took me from the canvas of an artist to the front lines in the battle to meet the Millennium Goals for Africa. I lent a pen and a perspective to challenge the current problems in health care and helped bring a son's final gift to his ailing mother to life.

Today, I work with the American Association for the Advancement of Science as one of the many individuals that contributes to the weekly issue of Science magazine. Restless and always in search for an adventure, I continue to freelance.

Here are a few things you can expect when you hire me...
