This can go beyond preoccupation with grammar and punctuation, to working on fixing plot holes, strengthening character arcs and helping writer's bring out the 'sparkle' in their story.
Additionally, having my stories constructively criticized has given me first-hand experience implementing feedback and seeing how a story develops from first draft to final draft.

Writing regularly, as well as submitting works to 'KYSS' (a successful youth literary magazine in Melbourne), has given me a great understanding of clear sentence structure, grammar and punctuation and implementing story elements.
