Most writing assignments were in compliance to NASA and U.S. military specifications. Hardware manuals were operation, maintenance, and overhaul instructions. Software documents dealt with diagnostic test procedures and flowchart details. To produce camera-ready copy for electronic publishing, I worked with PageMaker, FrameMaker, and Microsoft Office applications.

Vela Research, Saint. Petersburg, Florida (FL), initiated and produced digital audio/visual devices – such as encoders, decoders, and server products that applied to MPEG and JPEG technologies. Customers were provided explicit support diagrams, schematics, and technical descriptions, on which the Vela Research engineers and I collaborated. We also published various forms of marketing literature for Vela’s sales representatives. (5 years)
Encore Computer Corporation , Fort Lauderdale, FL, produced super-minicomputers for control of military flight simulators, telemetry equipment, and hurricane tracking devices. As a member of the technical publications team, I helped compose computer system manuals for operation and service. Boeing Aerospace Corporation, Cocoa Beach, FL, was the NASA prime support contractor at Kennedy Space Center during the Apollo-Saturn flights to and from the Moon, the Skylab Project, and the Space Shuttle Program.
