I provide translation, editing and proofreading of texts from Russian to English. Texts can be from a variety of genres (media/journalism, fiction, non-fiction, academic, technical). With an advanced-high level of fluency in Russian, a total of 1.5 years of in-country experience and exceptional writing skills in English, I can offer accurate translations that capture the tone of the original text. I have experience translating texts in an academic context as well as professional. While teaching English at the Kazan Institute of Economics, Management and Law in Kazan, Russia through a Fulbright grant, I translated part of the college's website into English. The following year marked the beginning of my master's studies, which entailed regular translation of a variety of texts from Russian to English. Currently, I provide translation of lectures and other course materials at the International Monetary Fund as need among my other duties as a program assistant.
