“Resource disappeared and failed to respond to status inquiries in middle of emergency engagement with end-customer. Claimed to have "fallen asleep" due to timezone difference, but eight hours later had still not completed assigned tasks. Lack of communication and failure adherence to defined tasks and scope delayed project and cost end-customer additional downtime. Followup with resource was met with excuses and foul language, followed by Skype block. Resource further misstated reason on Elance for project cancellation "Scheduling conflict with the client. I don't want to work with him anymore." after he had been removed from project by us. While resource's raw IT skills and abilities seem to be on the higher end of the spectrum, this behavior and disregard for our needs and end-customer's priority makes him a poor choice for our projects.
