I am an SEO by trade, who loves reading. As a result, I love writing. Ok, I'll be honest. I really just love words.

Whether you need a "how-to" guide, or some personality added to what would otherwise be considered "dry" content, I'm your guy.
Style and substance are not mutually exclusive. I won't just write content. I'll make sure it speaks to your reader, and compels them to take action, buy product, or just laugh. That part is up to you.
Cooking is my first love. I suppose that is why I enjoy writing so much. As I learned when working under a formally trained chef, cooking is more about the balance of ingredients in a dish, than it is about overpowering your customers with salt and spices.
Yet, that is what I see many people do when it comes to web copy, or any other type of copy, for that matter. It generally reads something like "keyword...keyword...blah..blah...KEYWORD".
That's like trying to cook a dish using only rosemary and salt.
This drives me mad. Yet, many people think their content will rank well in search engines, just by following this technique. This method does not work very well anymore, and the search engines are learning how to ignore it.
Enough of my ranting. To get to the point, I know the English language. I can go highbrow, or spit sunflower seeds while I talk at the back of my pickup's tailgate (I can say this, because I have done it. Well, maybe not the sunflower thing.).
I know SEO. I've helped clients dominate in their field, using content that I wrote. My work has received praise from journalists, within industries that I have very little experience in. These are people with 30+ years of experience in their fields.
All that to say this: Give me a shot. I can get the job done, and do it in a way that will thrill you, and your potential customers.
