Working closely in academia, I have years of experience with essays, research paper, APA and MLA citation styles, short and long papers, grammar and editing, and every aspect of the academic paper- including plagiarism protection.

I have worked with ESL students as well as special needs students very closely. My work spans from honors English to prep English students.I have tutored students in every area of English, writing, reading, grammar, study, and general learning.

I also have 2 years as a writer and editor of the Central Florida Community College Newspaper- The Patriot Press where I wrote, designed, and edited many journalistic articles on a wide variety of topics. I also have experience with SEO, ghost writing, blog and website content, and more!

My academic degrees include an AA in Journalism and Communications and a BA in English Communications and Psychology. In my academic and professional career I have worked on over 7 wordpress sites as a ghost writer, blogger, and manager.

I have edited papers, books, press releases,academic papers, business communications, newspaper and magazine articles, college level tests and essays, research papers, and more! This experience has provided me with vocabulary, diction, and writing experience that has helped me become the accomplished writer and editor that I am. I am a published author under the pen name K.M. Asano and am working on a Fantasy novel at this time. I am also a published editor and have over 12 years editing experience in fiction and non-fiction writing as well as academic and professional editing. Teach 21 students in College Prep English Level I for Fall B Mini-mester Developed program to work with students and increase interest in higher learning. Used variety of teaching techniques to encourage student critical thinking and discussion. Taught basic grammar including- sentence structure, basic noun and verb recognition, adjectives and adverbs, simple vs compound vs complex sentences, and punctuation and capitalization. Taught basic paragraph structure and format including cause and effect, persuasion, descriptive, illustrative, and informative. Collaborated with a team of faculty to develop lessons and activities to address required topics and to achieve the level of mastery required by the department. Designed lectures, lessons, hands-on-activities, and practice exams and writing assignments to enforce each area of focus in the course. Organized grade records to increase reference speed and utilized online and digital files and record keeping. Received high remarks in the final review of the class by the students at the end of the semester; also had a high rate of passing students in the class. Help manage and oversee learning lab that services Prep English and Prep Reading Level II students each semester. Work closely with instructors, advisors, counselors, and Access Services regarding special needs students in order to better understand their needs and tailor a tutoring session that best fit their individual and class needs. Developed program to work with students and increase interest in higher learning through hands-on activities, real-world examples, practice tests and writing assignments, and mock classroom assignments. Work one-on-one with students and in small group settings. Give orientation discussions and Q&A sessions for new students and classes in regards to the policies and procedures of the writing center for structure, tutoring appointments, scheduling, and material covered by the writing center students. Collaborated with fellow tutors on schedules, records, appointment sheets, time sheet records, daily and weekly calendar of appointments, and worked closely with supervisor to ensure smooth operation of the writing center. Tutored in the writing center during some of the business semesters and at times where no direct writing center supervisor was in-place or when tutoring lab was between supervisors. Skilled with dealing with problem or special needs students and have worked closely with students from Access service and those who have learning, behavior, mental, or other disabilities. Responded to student questions and offered solid, real-world examples to validate the lessons and skills being taught.

I will require escrow to be funded for flat rate work before any work begins.

For larger projects that total more than $1,000 for a single job assignment I will need the job broken into several milestones and I will also require %20-%25 of the total amount to be paid up front so I can begin work and continue working without delays as I move through the milestones.

I will do up to two revisions in order to ensure your satisfaction with my work without any additional charge.

You as the buyer shall permit Service Provider (me) limited use of excerpts of the writing I complete for you, solely for the purpose of advertising my skills and services to prospective clients. I will only include small samples and not entire works and nothing that contains identifying or sensitive information will be shared with another party. You as the buyer shall indemnify and hold me the Service Provider harmless for any unauthorized third-party usage of your materials.
