Service Description

I am an atypical garment designer with an insatiable desire to help others. As a result of this combination I am always on the lookout for an opportunity to improve the lives of others through the knowledge and experience I posses - be that my ability to create a great fitting garment, custom design or the dissemination of knowledge.

Clothing should make the wearer look and feel great, this is my design philosophy.

Some of my favorite projects are those which require problem solving to remedy individual fit or design issues. Examples of this include outer garments to accommodate atrophying back muscles due to severe fibromyalgia and trousers to flatter the mature woman with a unique physique.

I also enjoy any opportunity to improve the knowledge of others, in various forms. This dissemination of knowledge ranges from developing and executing a beginning sewing curriculum for an NGO in Uganda to creating a series of how-to technical scarf tying sketches for an online marketplace in the USA.

I am driven by colors, patterns, the random and unique. I thrive on my ability to turn what seems like nothing into something. From design concept to finished product I have the skills and problem solving needed to create professional and quality pieces that make the wearer look and feel great.
