“Posted job, sedatcankaya proposed $150 for job. I offered $300 if job could be done in 14 hours. First attempt, program didn't work. Second attempt, program didn't work, next day third attempt, program didn't work.
I have never dealt with a more unreasonable person. I offered $80 to cancel the job, because we were WAY past my deadline, I didn't need the program anymore, and I could have accepted other proposals for $80.
sedatcankaya insisted that I pay him the original bid of $150. Mind you, I still didn't have a working program. Logic apparently doesn't work with sedatcankaya because he insisted on escalating to a dispute, trying to get the full $300 out of me.
Now, I know most others have had a good experience with him. I've even hired him in the past for scraping jobs, and all was fine, but because of how he lied to Elance about what happened, dragged me into a dispute situation because of his inflexible attitude, I will never use him again.
Oh, Elance said I should pay him $100 and call it a day, which I agreed to do. I hope sedatcankaya is happy with what he got for that $100, because I got squat. Have had three scraping jobs in the last week, none of them went to sedatcankaya, I can promise you that.”
