“Sharpweb Studios is a rogue programming company; they indicate that they have a large staff, but it is only one programmer. They will turn in good work Monday, but by Friday - he has forgotten his code, or will actually sabotage his own work. He abandoned this and other jobs, blaming it on "hackers" or the buyer.
We warn others about this programmer:
a)They will accept a fixed price - but won't complete the job by the deadline they accepted - and then ask to be paid hourly.
b)They work limited hours - taking weeks or even months to do work that other firms complete in one day.
c)Their coding is poor, without comments, and done in a way that they themselves lose track of their work and soon walk away (after they have been paid).
d)They demand to be paid immediately - before buyers can test their work.
e)After code is tested - and appears to work - it suddenly fails. An audit exposed what appears to be time-based exploits and malicious code.
We have nothing personal against Hemant - the owner of Sharpweb. But we believe they are anti-American or anti-West. Why would a top rated firm ruin their reputation by harming their client?
DO NOT hire Sharpweb Studios - they will hold your project hostage, and even if they complete the job, the code will be so mess up, nobody else can work on it. And if you hire Sharpweb Studios to fix it (yes - they charge you for fixing their bugs), they will plant five (5) more bugs where there was only one.
We will be glad to show others proof that Sharpweb Studios is an untrustworthy, unprofessional, and viciously hostile company. Just contact us, and we'll provide documents, workroom conversations and actual code - that is indicative of a rogue, vicious, incompetent or diabolically evil company.
Do not use Sharpweb Studios. We have lost years, and thousands of dollars, and have asked eLance to investigage them, to determine why our development site was attacked by a hacker, why our working code is now broken. ”
