Consider me a perfectionist with speedy instincts.
I provide solid support and creative direction for any print-related project. I deliver results in page layout and design, typesetting, writing, editing, polishing, proofreading, and critical feedback.
I have over 10 years experience in the editing/publishing industry, including 3 years as an in-house editor for Master Point Press (Toronto, Canada), during which time I contributed my attention and skills to over 40 books. Some of the manuscripts that cross my desk require extensive work to clarify readability and meaning. Sometimes English is not the author's first language. Sometimes manuscripts deal with advanced techniques and concepts. In all cases, I am able to improve comprehension of the ideas involved based on an intuitive grasp of logic and sentence progression. I not only recognise problem areas; I also provide elegant and professional solutions.

In-house Editor and Layout Artist
2004 - 2007
After a two-week trial internship, I was hired full-time as an editorial assistant by Ray Lee, CEO of Master Point Press, The Bridge Publisher. My responsibilities initially included market research, data entry, proofreading, copy editing, and critical feedback on already published books; I quickly progressed to manuscript editing and book layout in addition to my other duties for an average of twelve books a year. I can claim sole editorial responsibility for three published books. I continue to work for Mr. Lee in a freelance contract capacity.
