While you can get wealthy from work, you live a very rich and rewarding life through family, friends and hobbies. So time for what%u2019s important is key at work and personally.
The right mix of offline and online marketing includes direct mail, comment cards, web sites, SEO, lead generation, mobile marketing, text message marketing, reviews, newsletters, sales letters, coupons, email marketing, blogging, press releases, magazine articles and of course, the umpteen flavors of social media. Mostly I help businesses in the Madison, Wisconsin and south central and southeastern Wisconsin.
For a time, I was a green and sustainability-minded consultant and salesman. I sold energy efficiency projects, energy management control systems, utility cost reductions, and recycling and solid waste consulting. I also managed indirect sales channel partners, media relationships and published articles and whitepapers. Here I helped companies increase profits by reducing expenses, but not by growing with smart marketing, which is what I really love to do. Using a CRM system, I prospected by cold calling Directors, VPs and C-level officers.
