Since 1988, Brenner has developed and implemented marketing, community, business development and public relations efforts for a broad-range of both public and private companies in the healthcare, energy, real estate, broadcast, high-end retail and non-profit. For WFAA/Channel 8, Brenner created a strategy for the station’s Santa’s Helpers program that not only increased the market profile of the campaign, but also doubled the campaign’s geographic reach and the number of children served. This strategy along with the project management structure implemented for Channel 8’s “Santa’s Helpers” campaign was used throughout Belo Corporation’s broadcast division and remains in place after the Gannett Broadcast buy-out in 2014.
