Overview

Minimum Hourly Rate $50

My first computer was a TRS-80 Color Computer and the first program I ever wrote was a character graphics version of the Enterprise from Star Trek. Service Description

I've developed everything from video games to enterprise systems. I was one of the original developers of OS/2 and among other claims to fame, was the one responsible for keyboard window resizing. So if you've ever had to resize an OS/2 window without a mouse, you're welcome!

I started programming in BASIC, but quickly ran into limitations in speed that caused me to learn assembly language (6809e and Z-80). From there, it was on to Pascal, C, and eventually C++. My most recent languages are Java and C#, and I'm pretty fluent in both. I've been learning Objective-C for iPhone development, and can't help but think that there could have been a better way.

The bottom line is that I've been a professional developer for over 20 years now, and I've never once let a project get the best of me. I'm a firm believer in "first, make it work -- then make it great". I'll deliver new functionality often and you'll have ample opportunities to make sure you get the system you paid for.
