Created compelling designs for flagship Harrah’s brand premiere casino and hotel, a regional destination generating over $400 million in annual revenue with over 2,400 employees. Established and coordinated brand standards for Harrah’s New Orleans’ unique local, regional and national marketing needs. Focused on Harrah’s ground-breaking direct marketing program, designing highly-targeted promotional direct mail. Designed print and environmental advertising and on- and off-property signage for event promotion and property amenities including hotel, dining, retail and nightlife venues. Worked with department heads to ensure all creative needs are met effectively, timely and within budget.
Graphic Designer & Production Artist
1999 - 2007
Designed and produced collateral, print advertising and web materials for an award-winning East Bay advertising and marketing agency servicing 40+ clients including those in the home building, banking and construction industries. Collaborated with account executives, clients and production management to provide products within designated budget and time constraints. Art directed photo shoots for national advertising campaigns. Worked with software developers to create innovative digital marketing tools, expanding agency’s base of available products and services. Cultivated the ability to provide unique, fresh design ideas to multiple clients in the same field in a fast-paced environment.
1996 - 1999
Recruited as in-house graphic design specialist for high-end offset printing company. Designed brochures, postcards, direct mail, newsletters and stationery for a variety of clients. Worked with clients in establishing budget, marketing
goals and print specifications. Handled all aspects of the design process including concept, creative direction, layout, illustration, copywriting, typography and pre-press preparation.
Jr. Graphic Designer
1992 - 1996
As a Jr. Graphic Designer, performed duties ranging from graphic design to print production for corporate design department of temporary staffing agency. Worked closely with senior design staff and creative director throughout design and production process. Designed print collateral materials including direct mail, postcards and internal company correspondence. Developed a strong background in corporate branding and identity.
