Service Description

I have 19 years experience in freelance writing and quick turnaround is my specialty. I've been an advertising/marketing executive, editor/feature writer for several magazines and had my own column in a parenting magazine. Currently, I write the popular comedy blog, "From Nonsense to Mom's Sense of Humor (How my life as a stand-up comic prepared me for motherhood).

I've also written for TV, radio and feature films (I co-wrote and directed the indie cult classic movie JUPTER LANDING) and I'm a member of the Writers Guild of American (WGA, the screenwriters' union). I've also written for various blogs where I utilized Search Engine Optimization techniques.

I am very adept at using all forms web technology, including audio/video compression and streaming, SEO, digital images, content management, and I have exceptional interview skills for articles that require interacting with people of interest.

Having worked in TV and radio, I am very deadline oriented and have no problem getting assignments in on time. I work from at home and am on the internet regularly so I am very easy to reach by email or phone. I'm known for clear, concise and easy to read content, peppered with a humorous slant when appropriate.
