Mr. Kay represents startups, emerging growth and publicly traded companies in all phases of their needs and operations, including organization, securities and debt financing, strategic alliances and joint ventures, technology licensing, franchising and international business transactions. In addition to his private practice, he has also been a Corporate General Counsel to a $200 million high technology division of the Northrop Grumman Corporation; and an international lawyer with the Agency for International Development.
Mr. Kay has law degrees from Georgetown University and the University of Texas, where he was a law review editor and a National Moot Court winner. He is also a graduate of the Wharton School of Finance of the University of Pennsylvania, and he attended the London School of Economics.
Mr. Kay is a member in good standing in the American, Massachusetts, California, District of Columbia, Texas and Boston Bar Associations. He is also an active member of several business organizations, including the Smaller Business Association of New England, the MIT Enterprise Forum, the Indus Entrepreneurs Association, and the IEEE Entrepreneurs's Network. He has written and spoken extensively on corporate law subjects.
